Position
We're looking for a Business Systems Analyst who thrives on solving problems, improving systems, and making things work better for the business and the people who use them.
Role Responsibilities Business Analysis & Systems Improvement
* Undertake detailed analysis to identify opportunities to enhance the functionality of Pronto ERP and other business applications
* Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications and solution proposals
* Develop and manage project plans to deliver initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget
* Manage project priorities in consultation with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs
* Support ERP upgrades and system enhancements, providing expert advice, recommendations, and project management support
Application Support
* Provide frontline functional and technical support for business applications, both remotely and across the organisation
* Deliver timely and customer-focused communication regarding support requests and issue resolution
* Support a range of systems including Pronto, Cognos, Definitiv, Redmap, Netstock, Esker, FreshCRM, Akeneo, e‐commerce platforms and Microsoft applications
* Assist with system upgrades, user acceptance testing, and end‐user training
* Provide out-of-hours support as required
Training & Documentation
* Assist in the development and documentation of national IT and system processes
* Support the design and delivery of end‐user training for Pronto ERP and other business systems
Essential Candidate Requirements
* Advanced knowledge and hands‐on experience with Pronto ERP
* Strong functional understanding of multiple IT business applications
* Extensive experience in a similar role, including Pronto Software and Help Desk support
* Proven ability to manage projects from initiation through to successful completion, including stakeholder engagement and requirements analysis
* Strong understanding of business processes, particularly Supply Chain and Finance/Accounts
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* High level of customer service orientation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with management, employees, and external providers
* Strong planning and organisational skills
* Sound analytical and problem‐solving abilities
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and meet tight deadlines
* Resilient and able to perform in a fast‐paced, complex environment
* Strong team player with initiative and self‐motivation
Desirable Criteria
* Knowledge gained working within a large national multi‐site Wholesale Distribution and/or Retail company
* Knowledge & Experience writing Cognos reports
