This opportunity is well-suited for experienced medical sales representatives familiar with the intricacies of the capital equipment sales cycle, or for professionals with a background in Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, or General Surgery seeking to expand their skill set. The role involves navigating medium-term capital sales engagements and requires regular interaction with hospital C-Suite executives and surgical specialists.
About the Role
Reporting to the Imaging & Resection Sales Manager, you will deliver outstanding service and tailored solutions to a diverse range of Specialist Surgeons, Operating Room Nurses, and other key hospital stakeholders. Your contribution will drive the growth and adoption of our Imaging & Resection product portfolio throughout New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities
Identifying customer needs and optimising on opportunities including generating leads and presenting product information
Developing and implementing strategic territory sales and performance plans
Attending cases and providing technical support during surgical procedures
Facilitating product trials and evaluations and delivering in-service training
Developing effective relationships with key opinion leaders in both clinical and purchasing areas
Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years hospital sales experience in a similar portfolio – Capital Sales of Surgical Camera Systems, General Surgery, Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy preferred
Proven track record of sales achievements, and a deep understanding of complex sales cycles within the hospital system
Customer solutions focused and strategic for a long-term win
Resilient and results driven, with exceptional relationship skills
Excellent communication, time management and good attention to detail
