About the role
We are seeking a capable and collaborative Project Accountant to support a major decommissioning project based in our Southbank office, Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring effective financial management across a large-scale and technically complex project, partnering closely with project and commercial teams to deliver accurate reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, monitor and analyse project financials, including budgets, forecasts and cost tracking
* Partner with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
* Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting, including variance analysis
* Support project governance through compliance with financial controls and processes
* Assist in financial planning, cash flow management and cost control initiatives
About you
* Experience in a project accounting or finance role, ideally within construction, engineering or infrastructure
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Collaborative approach with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams
* Effective communication skills, able to explain financial information clearly
* Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
