The Opportunity
The Head of Operations will serve as the senior operational leader for the ANZ business, overseeing day‐to‐day operations across supply chain, customer service, logistics, compliance, distributor support, events, finance coordination, and cross‐functional business execution. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Global Marketing Operations based in the USA, this role requires a highly autonomous leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands‐on operational management in a fast‐paced direct selling environment.
The successful candidate will act as the key operational liaison between the Australian business and global headquarters, ensuring operational efficiency, market growth, distributor satisfaction, and regulatory compliance across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
* Lead and manage all operational functions for the ANZ business.
* Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with global company objectives.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems, workflows, and customer experience.
* Ensure operational scalability to support distributor and revenue growth.
Supply Chain & Logistics
* Oversee inventory planning, warehousing, forecasting, and order fulfilment operations.
* Manage third‐party logistics providers and local operational vendors.
* Ensure accurate inventory controls and timely product availability.
* Partner with global teams on product launches, forecasting, and supply chain planning.
Distributor Experience & Customer Support
* Lead distributor support operations to deliver a best‐in‐class field experience.
* Develop processes and tools that improve distributor onboarding, retention, engagement, and communication.
* Oversee customer service standards and issue resolution processes.
Compliance & Risk Management
* Ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand direct selling regulations, consumer laws, and company policies.
* Partner with legal and compliance teams to manage operational risk and distributor conduct standards.
* Maintain accurate operational reporting and governance processes.
Commercial & Strategic Support
* Collaborate with the President and executive leadership team on strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
* Analyse operational and commercial performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
* Support sales campaigns, promotions, incentive programs, and distributor events.
Financial & Business Administration
* Oversee operational budgets, forecasting, and cost management.
* Coordinate with finance teams on reporting, reconciliations, and operational controls.
* Ensure efficient resource allocation and financial discipline across the business.
Leadership & Culture
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high‐performing local operations team.
* Foster a collaborative, agile, and accountable workplace culture.
* Champion company values and support strong engagement across the distributor community.
Skills & Experience
* 8+ years' senior operations leadership experience, ideally within direct selling, network marketing, beauty, wellness, FMCG, or consumer products industries.
* Strong understanding of direct selling business models and distributor‐based sales organisations.
* Proven experience managing supply chain, logistics, customer operations, and business processes.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance operational execution and strategic planning.
* Experience working with global stakeholders and offshore executive teams.
* Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing cross‐functional teams.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* High level of adaptability, initiative, and problem‐solving capability.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience within a direct selling organisation such as Amway, USANA Health Sciences, Nu Skin, Herbalife, Arbonne, or similar.
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related disciplines.
* Experience supporting ANZ regional operations within a global business structure.
