This is a fixed-term five-year contract with the possibility of a further contract and/or extension. Suitable applicants may be considered for other similar vacancies within the next 12 months. This is a full-time position.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to strengthen the integrity of the public sector, reduce corruption and disrupt criminal activity for the benefit of our community.
The Operational Support directorate is responsible for the delivery of high-quality capabilities to the Commission's serious misconduct and unexplained wealth investigations. This includes the effective delivery of covert surveillance and electronic collection activities.
OPPORTUNITY
The Principal Electronic Discovery and Digital Forensics is responsible for ensuring the Commission's e-discovery and digital forensics capabilities remain contemporary, secure, reliable and fit for purpose. The job is hands‐on, requiring expertise in both field and laboratory environments.
The successful candidate will thrive in both operational and corporate roles, demonstrating effectiveness as a leader, manager, and collaborator who can anticipate future challenges and deliver results in our complex and dynamic environment.
* Review forensics reports and assess improvement options.
* Contribute to strategic planning and technology proposals.
* Manage service contracts and oversee project lifecycles.
* Coordinate the development of new capabilities.
* Engage with government agencies, law enforcement, intelligence counterparts and industry experts to implement innovative technology solutions.
The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship, and employment is conditional on you possessing and maintaining a national security classification of LEVEL 1 – NEGATIVE VETTING or higher.
