SustainHealth is currently recruiting for a Director of Nursing & Midwifery to lead a regional health service in rural South Australia.
This key executive role provides strategic and operational leadership across multiple sites, supporting high-quality patient care and driving innovation within the organisation.
About the Role:
• Senior leadership position overseeing nursing, midwifery, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Accountable for governance, clinical standards, and service delivery outcomes
• Manage human, financial, and material resources across multiple rural facilities
• Lead cultural, clinical, and operational improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with senior executives, unions, and external agencies
Key Requirements:
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife
• Extensive management experience within hospital or community health settings
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to drive service delivery and workforce development
• Postgraduate qualifications in management or health administration (highly regarded)
