Supervisor, QC and Supervisor/QC - Site Based - Henderson
Orontide is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine and Commercial Industries.
As a result of the company's continued growth, an excellent Fulltime opportunity has become available for suitably qualified and experienced Supervisor, QC and Supervisor/QC to join our Defence and Commercial site-based teams in Henderson.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Project Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to lead and supervise the performance of an excellent team of skilled and trained personnel within the Defence and Commercial site-based team.
Essential Experience and Skills
* Extensive supervisory experience
* Ability to conduct QA inspections and testing as per ITP
* Estimation knowledge and experience (desired)
* Ability to create, revise and/or submit documentation such as coating reports, ITP's, JSEA's etc.
* Demonstrated ability to ensure that quality work is completed safely, on time and within budget
* Reliability in planning, reporting, communicating and ensuring compliance with internal and legislative commitments and obligations
* Marine experience working on submarines and naval vessels (highly desirable)
* Experience with 2‐pack paints
* Strong leadership skills
* Actively seek out ideas for continuous improvement
Essential Qualifications
* Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential)
* Ability to obtain baseline security clearance (essential)
* Certificate III in Surface Preparation (desired)
* Working at height and confined space experience
* OHS Construction White Card
* Hold or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance (essential)
