We are seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson to join a workshop-based operations team in Geraldton. This role is ideal for someone with parts, inventory, or automotive industry experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is keen to grow their skills.
About the Role
Working closely with the maintenance and operations teams, you will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing parts, and supporting maintenance planning activities. This is a residential role, and applicants must reside in Geraldton to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Purchase inventory and manage stock control and storage
* Engage with suppliers to obtain quotes, raise purchase orders, and receipt deliveries
* Accurately receive, store, and issue parts and materials
* Support the maintenance team in establishing supplier and OEM supply agreements
* Assist in developing and maintaining standard equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs)
* Participate proactively in maintenance planning processes
* Source parts as required to support workshop operations
* Monitor, report on, and improve key inventory KPIs
About You
* Demonstrated experience in a similar storeperson or inventory role
* Background in the automotive or mechanical industry, including parts interpreting
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn and contribute positively to a team environment
Qualifications & Requirements
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
* Basic computer literacy and ability to use inventory and purchasing systems
* Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
* Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
