Job Title: Mental Health Nurse Specialist
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate mental health nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse (CN) within the Mental Health Care Programme (MHCP).

* The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct and comprehensive nursing care, individual case management, and facilitating education, counselling, and group work to support consumers in achieving their best possible health and recovery.
Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and community partners, you will be expected to deliver compassionate, holistic, and recovery-focused care that aligns with the National Mental Health Policy, National Standards, and the values of SA Health.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to education, research, and service development projects aligned with MHCP priorities.
About the Role
This position involves working in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community health services, and other healthcare facilities. You will be required to provide clinical care and support to individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults.
The successful candidate will be accountable for maintaining accurate records, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
* You will also have the chance to participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as mental health assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
* A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
* A postgraduate degree in mental health nursing or a related field
* Experience in mental health nursing or a related field
