We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality therapeutic and wellbeing supports to individuals accessing mental health services.
This permanent full-time position is based in Mt Alexander and involves leading targeted group work programs. The successful candidate will utilise their expertise to deliver meaningful therapies, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to promote access to primary care services.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Developing and facilitating wellbeing/therapeutic groups;
* Designing risk management plans;
* Making linkages with local supports;
The ideal candidate has a tertiary degree in social work, eligibility for AASW membership, and experience in recovery-oriented approaches. They should also have knowledge of flexible therapeutic support services, assessment, brief intervention, treatment planning, and evaluation.
