We are seeking an experienced HRIS Administration Manager (Workday) to lead the maintenance, optimisation and ongoing development of St John of God Health Care’s HRIS (Workday). This role ensures our system operates efficiently, meets business and compliance requirements, and supports best practice across the organisation.
You’ll partner closely with Workforce, Digital & Technology and key project teams to deliver a stable, well‑governed, and continuously improving HR technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Workday support team to balance day‑to‑day operational support with strategic enhancements and project delivery.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and functional leaders, continuously improving HR service delivery through system optimisation.
- Work with stakeholders to assess, design and implement Workday enhancements and process improvements aligned to business needs.
- Oversee governance, road‑mapping and cross‑functional planning for ongoing system development.
- Manage the deployment, testing and rollout of Workday enhancements, feature releases and system upgrades.
- Oversee the development and execution of test plans to ensure compliance, accuracy and timely delivery.
- Stay informed on legislative and compliance requirements, ensuring Workday remains aligned with best practice and internal policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design system solutions that address audit findings and mitigate risk.
- Maintain robust system security and data privacy standards.
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of system documentation, policies, training materials and knowledge tools.
- Support the delivery of specialist reporting and analytics to meet business needs.
- Partner with stakeholders to design and deliver meaningful reporting solutions within deadlines.
- Actively engage in the Workday Community to stay ahead of system developments, industry trends and best practice.
Qualifications
You will bring experience managing or implementing Workday within a large or complex setting, with strong knowledge of operations, system design and the integration of HR, Payroll and Learning processes. You can translate business needs into practical technology solutions and communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
With experience in project planning, delivery and risk management, you demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving and change management skills. You are an effective leader who engages stakeholders confidently, and you have hands‑on Workday configuration and maintenance experience.
