The Role
Riggers are a mainstay of our work on site, playing a hands‐on role in ensuring work is carried out accurately and safely. Whether it is lifting or transport operations, or both, as a rigger you'll be able to take great pride in being a cornerstone of the projects you work on.
We are looking for experienced Casual Riggers to join our peak periods in the Pilbara. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients across numerous sites and locations. Being part of the Mammoet's Shutdown Crew means you get to join a team that thinks big and pushes the limits of its expertise.
Successful candidates will be required to FIFO from Brisbane Airport and be available between late June and mid‐July (exact dates to be confirmed). Ongoing opportunities may be offered to suitable applicants.
What you'll be doing:
* Preparing and handling auxiliary equipment for the lifting, transport and movement of project loads
* Securing the load and the job site
* Installing and disassembling ancillary materials
* Guiding the operator through signaling and radio communication
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to the required standard
Skills & Experience
* Proficiency in rigging practices
* Experience with the Heavy Lift Industry and working with Liebherr cranes
* High Risk Work License for Rigging (RI, RA)
* Valid Working at Heights Certification
* Australian Driver's Licence
* OHS Certification (Blue or White Card)
* Unrestricted Australian Work Rights
