CGH provides acute care as part of an integrated service delivery model across Wellington Shire and beyond, with beds across three campuses (Sale, Maffra and Heyfield). Acute services include a full‐time emergency department, critical care unit, neonatal critical care unit, three operating theatres, day procedure unit, oncology and dialysis services, and general medical and sub‐acute services including rehabilitation. CGH also delivers aged care and community services, operating four residential aged care homes and supporting independent living through programs such as Support at Home and Commonwealth Home Support.
Our multidisciplinary allied health team offers physiotherapy, dietetics, occupational therapy, speech pathology and social work, while public dental services enhance community wellbeing. CGH is a leading teaching hospital affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health.

About Department
The Pharmacy Department serves the Sale, Maffra and Heyfield campuses. You will work in a dynamic hospital pharmacy environment as part of a diverse team which includes pharmacists, pharmacy interns and experienced pharmacy technicians.
About the Role
We are seeking a team player with excellent communication and computing skills who is enthusiastic and motivated to join the Pharmacy Department at Central Gippsland Health, Sale campus. The role suits community pharmacy assistants or technicians who would like to experience hospital pharmacy for a fixed term. There is the possibility of hiring Grade 1 and Grade 2 technicians based on experience.
Duties
* Dispensing
* Supplying medications to clinical areas
* Visiting remote sites to facilitate medication supply
* Stock management including ordering and receipting of goods
* Actively participating in medication safety and other departmental projects
About You
* Ready for a new challenge!
* Hospital or community pharmacy experience preferred
* Prior completion of Certificate III Hospital Pharmacy Technician course is desirable but not essential.
