HEAVY VEHICLE DIESEL MECHANIC

We are looking for a Senior Diesel Mechanic and a full-time Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
Working out of our Laverton North Workshop, you'll be maintaining and repairing our road transport fleet.
In this role, you will:
* Repair and maintain our transport fleet
* Inspect and diagnose faults and the condition of our vehicles
* Identify any worn or damaged parts
* Carry out preventative maintenance services, maintaining vehicle records
* Complete and submit the necessary paperwork and reports

* Monday to Friday day shift, standard hours 6:00am - 3:30pm with additional overtime available
* Saturday shifts on offer, but not mandatory

This role is a great fit if you:
* Are a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
* Hold a valid white card, or willing to obtain one
* Have a commitment to safety
* Have experience with heavy equipment, such as trucks and earthmoving equipment (preferred)
* Experience with Kenworth/Mack/Volvo equipment preferred, not essential
* Like working in a clean, modern, and well-lit workshop
* Want to work with a great team
All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all Alex Fraser premises.
