About the role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Casual Ministry Assistant at our Clifton Springs location.
You will successfully
* Actively share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those in the community and provide Christian teaching to see the congregation equipped and encouraged.
* Have the heart to walk alongside individuals that are looking to make a positive change in their lives with our 12 Step Recovery program.
* Be an active member of the Pastoral Care Council and Leadership Team
* Be proactive in entering data into relevant databases.
* Maintain regular communication with all team members and Volunteers
* Provide administrative support to the team leaders.
* Ensure the administration and report relating to program are delivered in required timeframes and budget.
You will have (Requisite Skills & Qualifications)
* A sound, mature Christian experience, including the ability to disciple an individual on the journey to and with Jesus.
* Proven leadership (spiritual and organizational) and pastoral capabilities and a strong Christian faith- showing Christ-like living.
* A VIC Driver's licence
* Working with children's check
* A desire to be a Soldier of The Salvation Army or willingness to become one
Not required, but desirable
Diploma of Ministry or Theology or equivalent work experience or other formal training, or undertaking further study or willing to do so.
