Educational Leader / Assistant Director (2IC)

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and inspire educators to deliver programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (v2.0) Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
Support the Director with day-to-day operations, compliance, staffing, and family engagement.
Step into the Responsible Person in Charge role as required.
Model reflective practice and continuous improvement through quality planning and critical reflection.
Support documentation, programming, and assessment processes that highlight each child’s learning journey.
Coordinate professional learning and contribute to the service’s Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and the Strategic Inclusion Plan (SIP).
Foster positive relationships with families, children, staff, and the wider community.
Qualifications and Skills
Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
Sound Knowledge of the NQS, QKLG, ECA Code of Ethics, QIP, SIP, and RAP.
Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
Excellent Communication Skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
First Aid Certification (including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training) and a valid Blue Card.
