The Role: Meta Creative Strategist
We're looking for a
Creative Strategist for Meta Ads,
someone who lives and breathes performance creative, understands how to translate insights into ideas, and knows that great ads are equal parts psychology and design.
The Creative Strategist bridges the gap between
creative and performance
, developing ad concepts and messaging strategies that drive measurable results. You'll collaborate closely with media buyers, designers, editors, and clients to deliver data-led creative strategies that scale.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Insights
* Conduct audience, competitor, and trend research to identify new ad angles and opportunities.
* Develop creative strategies aligned with campaign goals (acquisition, retention, offers, LTV growth).
* Translate data and insights into actionable creative hypotheses and testing ideas.
Concept Development & Briefing
* Write creative briefs, storyboards, and hooks for ads across Meta placements.
* Ideate and pitch high-performing ad concepts using proven frameworks.
* Collaborate with video editors, designers, and UGC creators to bring concepts to life.
Creative Testing & Analysis
* Partner with media buyers to plan and execute creative tests (hooks, formats, CTAs, value props).
* Review and report on ad performance metrics (CTR, thumb-stop rate, CVR, ROAS, CPA).
* Produce monthly creative insight reports outlining what's working, what's not, and next steps.
Collaboration & Execution
* Maintain close alignment with the performance team to ensure creative and targeting strategies are cohesive.
* Present creative recommendations to clients, supported by data and insights.
* Build and manage a "creative vault" of high-performing ads and learnings to guide future work.
Process & Innovation
* Keep across Meta platform updates and evolving creative best practices.
* Contribute to internal frameworks, templates, and testing systems that improve creative efficiency.
* Lead brainstorms and contribute to agency-wide creative innovation sessions.
Skills & Experience
* 2+ years experience in creative strategy or performance creative for Meta Ads (agency or brand side).
* Strong understanding of ad metrics and ability to interpret data into creative direction.
* Exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and concept ideation skills.
* Experience briefing and directing content creators or production teams.
* Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, creative testing methodologies, and trend identification tools (e.g., TikTok Creative Centre, Meta Ad Library).
* Proficient in using project management tools (we use ClickUp).
