About the Role
We're hiring a Business Development Manager to drive direct sales growth across our Sydney metropolitan and regional NSW network. This is a unique role that spans both markets — you'll work with metro businesses looking for high-traffic billboard exposure across Sydney's road and rail corridors, as well as regional brands and organisations looking to reach local communities through our extensive regional NSW assets, underpinned by our recently extended multi-year concession with NSW Trains.
This is a role for someone who thrives on building relationships, understands how brands use OOH to cut through, and gets energy from winning new business across diverse markets. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own pipeline, with a collaborative team behind you.
The position is open to candidates based anywhere in Greater Sydney or regional NSW, with full remote flexibility and a willingness to travel to meet clients across the state.
What You'll Be Doing
* Prospecting, engaging, and developing direct client relationships across both metro Sydney and regional NSW, targeting industries where outdoor media is a natural fit — property, retail, QSR, education, health/aged care, tourism, agriculture, and beyond.
* Building tailored OOH solutions that align with each client's marketing objectives and budget.
* Presenting proposals, negotiating terms, and closing new business.
* Managing ongoing client relationships to drive campaign renewals and grow account value over time.
* Travelling into regional markets to build face‐to‐face relationships and uncover opportunities that competitors miss.
* Working closely with internal operations and production teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
* Hitting and exceeding individual revenue targets while contributing to broader team goals.
* Keeping CRM records via our Salesforce platform relating to forecasts, and pipeline activities so they are accurate and up to date.
About You
* 5+ years in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in media, advertising, or marketing services.
* A track record of winning new business through direct outreach and relationship development — not just managing inbound.
* Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and how OOH fits within a broader media mix.
* Confident presenter and skilled negotiator who can tailor a pitch to a local business owner or a national brand manager.
* Self‐starter that's comfortable working autonomously while staying connected to the team.
* CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar) and solid Microsoft Office skills.
* Genuine curiosity about helping clients grow.
