You will contribute to the success of World Gym Joondalup. This is a very hands‐on role and will see you leading from the front in all areas of retail customer service.
The role will oversee the day‐to‐day operation of our Pro Shop, including retail sales, stock management, administration, staff leadership, promotions, social media activity, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience.
Part‐time position (minimum 32 hours per week) Monday to Friday 7:00am – 1:30pm.
Responsibilities
* Part time 32 hours a week over 5 days in a fast‐paced environment
* Leading and driving retail sales in the Pro Shop and Barbell Café
* Managing inventory, stock levels, and ordering systems
* Visual merchandising and maintaining an appealing retail layout
* Training and supervising retail staff
* Creating and maintaining supplement and product knowledge
* Monitoring and reporting on KPIs and sales targets
* Making quality protein shakes to recipe
* Upselling and cross‐promoting gym services and products
* Ensuring a clean, organised, and welcoming retail environment
Qualifications
* Strong administration and organisational skills
* Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership qualities
* Confidence with social media and content creation
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* A flexible approach to roster requirements
* Reliable transport and a current driver's licence preferred
