Location & Salary
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
A$132,000.00 – A$144,000.00 per annum
Responsibilities
* Detailed concrete and steel design, including interaction with drafters to produce models and documentation in line with QA compliance
* Concept studies, including estimating quantities and preliminary designs
* Assist with construction enquiries, including safe lifting and erection
* Interface with other engineering disciplines, including electrical, process and mechanical
* Focus on technical innovation and continuous improvement
* Office‐based position in Brisbane with short‐term site visits required
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Civil (Structural) Engineering
* Strong desire and willingness to develop a career within the metals and minerals processing industry
* At least 2‐3 years' experience as a structural engineer in design, consultancy or operational environment
* Previous minerals or metals industry experience highly regarded
* Ability to safely and effectively self‐manage time, priorities and activities
* Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills
