Claims Consultant – Travel Insurance

About The Role
As a Claims Consultant, you'll assess travel insurance claims end‐to‐end, ensuring every decision is compliant, consistent, and customer‐focused. You'll contribute to a high‐performing team while supporting continuous improvements in how we leverage data, insights, and evolving tools to enhance the claims experience.
What You'll Do
* Assess and manage travel insurance claims across a range of scenarios
* Deliver timely, fair, and accurate outcomes aligned to policy and compliance guidelines
* Provide clear, empathetic communication to customers throughout the claims journey
* Collaborate with internal teams including medical assistance and teleclaims
* Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes
* Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to a strong team culture
* Contribute to performance outcomes including quality, turnaround, and completion rates
What You Bring
* Experience in insurance claims, ideally with exposure to complex cases
* Strong ability to interpret policy wording and apply sound judgement
* Excellent communication skills with a customer‐first mindset
* Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation
* Comfort working in a digitally enabled environment, using systems and insights to drive decisions
* Interest in evolving tools and ways of working that enhance efficiency and accuracy
