St Vincents Private Hospital Lismore is looking for a qualified social worker to provide a contracted service. The provision of a high level of tailored support services to our patients, their families and carers will be through a referral system.
The Social Worker within St Vincents Private Hospital will be required to provide assessments, counselling, mediation and case management to patients within the hospital setting.
This position will also be required to liaise with the multidisciplinary team. This will ensure a high level of person-centred care when discharging, providing invaluable knowledge and support to families and carers of our patients.
Social Worker Contractors Appointed Will Require
A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification and member or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
A minimum of one year's experience in Social Work with demonstrated entry level competencies, skills and knowledge in conducting assessments, case management and counselling
Excellent oral and written communication skills
ABN and Insurance Policy
Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads
