Overview Belltrees Public School is a small rural school with a rich history of providing high-quality education for more than 140 years. Located 36 km east of Scone, the school draws students from nearby townships including Moonan Brook, Moonan Flat, Stewarts Brook, Belltrees, and Gundy. Currently enrolment is 11 students, complemented by the successful b4Kindy program engaging an additional 3 young learners. The school is well equipped with the latest technology and sustainable regenerative agricultural education that promotes environmental stewardship.
Location Central & North Coasts – Newcastle & Hunter Valley
Salary Base salary $149,059.00; total remuneration package $168,946.00.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education.
Plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning.
Build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community.
Lead staff in implementing the Department’s Aboriginal education policies and ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Coach and mentor other staff around effective classroom practice while managing the dual role of Teaching Principal.
