Primary responsibility Your primary responsibility in this role will be to manage and carry out repairs and maintenance of our Portsmith Asphalt Plant.
This role will require you to be available to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends and be available to travel to various Asphalt plants across the Northern QLD region to support operational requirements.
Day to day activities Working independently, consulting with Asset and Production teams on prioritisation of tasksEnsuring that the manufacturing plant complies with relevant safety standardsMaintaining equipment to the highest possible standard for operational purposes and to allow the business to meet objectivesCompleting programmed maintenance tasksEnsuring all relevant permits and safety paperwork is in place before commencement of tasksContractor & labour supervision onsiteCompleting daily plant inspectionsMonitoring plant equipment for any defectsAvailable to participate in plant shutdown programs What are we looking for?
