As the Financial Analyst, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and will lead the development, reconciliation and refinement of financial models and systems that underpin strategic decision-making, long‐term planning, and continuous improvement across the organization. Your insights will support the executive team and board in navigating complex funding arrangements, operational planning, and business efficiencies to support the Belong at Home team.

This part time role (3 days a week) is ideal for someone with strong analytical capability, excellent development and modelling skills, and a passion for making a difference in the aged care sector.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and develop efficiencies in the use of Sandwai aged care system for financial and user process to support business planning, funding analysis, and scenario modelling to implement efficiencies.

Lead financial modelling related to aged care reforms, including impact assessments for changes to government funding or compliance requirements.

Collaborate with operations to process purchase requirements under Support at Home claims process.

Monitor and report on Client Budget quarterly utilization liaising with Care Partners to ensure available funds are understood and utilized.

Analyze current and projected financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities that may impact sustainability and service quality.

Monitor and report on Support at Home Budget Utilization.

Support the preparation of long‐range financial forecasts and business cases for capital investment, service expansion, or transformation projects.

Contribute to board and management reporting through clear visualization of modelling outcomes and key performance metrics.

Ongoing and improved reconciliation of system interactions of Power BI, CRM and Payroll for continuous improvement and streamlined process.

About you

Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion (preferred).

Extensive experience in financial modelling, planning, and analysis, ideally within health, aged care, or not‐for‐profit sectors.

Deep understanding of government funding models and financial compliance requirements relevant to aged care in Australia.

Proficient in Excel and financial modelling software, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate financial insights into strategic recommendations and training deliverables.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports for senior management or board audiences.

Proactive, values‐aligned, and committed to the mission of delivering quality aged care services.

Previous experience in Sandwai (preferred but not essential).
