Café63 Highfields Plaza is recruiting for an experienced Front of House manager and Barista who thrives on working in a busy, fast paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service to every customer.
As Out Front Manager;
You will be:
* Confident and experienced in the day-to-day operations of a busy cafe
* Experienced in leading and directing a front of house team.
* Focussed on the guest experience by delivering genuine hospitality.
You will be responsible for:
* The day to day running of the outlet, including ordering, rostering, stock control and end of day procedures
* Team culture and staff training
* Ensuring outlet presentation, food and beverage quality is to Cafe63 brand standards
* Building sales, repeat customer business and the Cafe63 loyalty program in the outlet
* Managing food safety and health safety within the outlet
You will have:
* Prior experience in a supervisory or management role
* Excellent communication skills
* Great organisational skills and initiative
* Strong knowledge of food safety and health and safety legislation
* Hospitality qualifications are preferred
Barista:
Key Responsibilities:
* To adhere to Café63 customer service standards and timings as set out in Atlas63
* To ensure all hot and cold drinks are produced in accordance with Café63 recipes and presentation standards
* To accurately take customer orders using the standards set out in English63
* To accurately and confidently deal with any guest concerns in a friendly manner to achieve a positive outcome for the customer and store
* To accurately process bill payments and transactions using the Maggie loyalty card
* To keep the Outfront section and bar clean and tidy
* To follow all food safety and health and safety guidelines as trained
* To follow all company policies and procedures as trained
* To work with the rest of the Café63 team to create a positive, respectful working environment
* To maintain a clean and presentable appearance and uniform, in line with Cafe63 standards

Skills:
Essential:
* Excellent communication skills
* Good attention to detail and well organised
Desirables:
* Current I'm Alert certificate
* RSA certificate
* Previous experience in a high volume café or restaurant
* Ability to carry 3 plates at once
