Fire Portable Technician
Location: Knoxfield, Victoria
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Mobile / On-Site)

This role will be a key role in the inspection and maintenance of portable fire equipment and essential safety measures, working under guidance of the Melbourne Service Manager, with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
* Conduct routine inspection and testing of fire extinguishers & fire blankets
* Conduct fire hose reel and hydrant inspections (where qualified)
* Carry out fire door checks (training provided)

About You
* Experience in fire protection or a related trade (preferred but not essential)
* A basic understanding of AS1851 or willingness to learn
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Successful applicant required to undertake Police & Working with children check
* Current drivers license
To excel in this role
* Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation
* Strong operational and safety skills
* Effective communicator at all levels
* Prior experience in Fire Industry preferable but not essential
