At GenesisCare, we’re passionate about innovation, compassion, and delivering exceptional outcomes for our patients. We’re seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Albury clinic on a casual basis, working within a supportive, close-knit nursing team.
This role is ideal for an experienced oncology nurse, but we also welcome applications from RNs eager to learn. Full training in radiation oncology nursing will be provided. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone caring, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient experiences.

More specifically, you will:
Provide excellent patient care, ensuring patient's physical and psychological needs are met.
Undertake direct patient care including education, wound management and medication administration as per Practice Protocol.
Effectively manage the patients that are seen each day.
Facilitate effective lines of communication with doctors, patient services, physicists and radiation therapists and provide feedback and up to date information regarding patients.
Ensure all patient interaction is documented, communicated and actioned.
Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices and clinical guidelines in line with best practice radiation oncology nursing standards.
Ensure medication management protocols are followed.
Use ISBAR communication tool for handover of patients and communication with allied health services along with documentation.
Demonstrate reliability, motivation and flexibility.
We're interested in hearing from people who:
Have a current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Have a minimum 2 years post graduate experience (preferred).
Hold a background in oncology nursing, but not essential. Training in radiation oncology nursing will be provided.
Possess exemplary interpersonal communication skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy for all patients and their carers.
Have well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Show commitment to the application of best practice principles and quality improvement including the NSQHS.
Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development.
Are experienced in wound care management
