Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of annual and half-year statutory financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and ASX reporting requirements. Coordinate and manage the external audit process, acting as the primary liaison with auditors to ensure timely and efficient completion of audit activities. Support the preparation and review of ASX announcements, annual reports, and investor reporting requirements. Research and interpret new accounting standards and assess their impact on the organisation. Prepare technical accounting papers and provide guidance on complex accounting matters. Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate reporting obligations. Partner with senior finance leaders and business stakeholders to support accurate financial reporting outcomes. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of financial controls, reporting processes, and governance frameworks. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities as required. About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: CA or CPA qualification. 5 years' experience within external audit, technical accounting, financial reporting, or a similar corporate finance environment. Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements. Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements for large, complex organisations. Previous exposure to ASX-listed reporting requirements and governance frameworks. Experience managing external audit relationships and delivering outcomes within tight reporting deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, analytical capability, and commercial acumen.
