Job Title: Respiratory Physiotherapist Specialist - Advanced Ventilatory Care
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialist services to patients with respiratory failure requiring non-invasive ventilatory support.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, initiate, educate, discharge and follow up patients requiring non-invasive ventilation. This position involves an on-call component and requires advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of physiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist physiotherapy services to patients with respiratory failure
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
* Assess, initiate, educate, discharge and follow up patients requiring non-invasive ventilation
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
Requirements:
* Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent and current registration with AHPRA
* Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of physiotherapy
* Extensive experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
