Geek Xpress is hiring a Casual/Temporary Computer Technician in Mill Park, VIC. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting computers, laptops, printers, networks, and general IT issues for residential and business customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, and IT devices
* Troubleshoot software, hardware, email, and internet issues
* Install and configure Windows, antivirus, printers, and networks
* Provide on-site technical support to customers
* Set up Wi‐Fi, routers, and network troubleshooting
* Assist customers with virus removal, system optimisation, and data backup
* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism during visits
Requirements
* 1 year of relevant work experience
* Previous experience as a Computer Technician / IT Support Technician
* Strong knowledge of Windows PCs, laptops, printers, networking, and troubleshooting
* Good communication and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage onsite jobs
* Must have own vehicle for travelling to customer locations
* Must have the legal right to work in Australia
* Valid driver's license preferred
