Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard‐working individual to ensure the housekeeping standards within the Warehouse meet food safety requirements. Tasks include the following:
* Effective cleaning, sanitising and housekeeping of equipment and work areas within the DC and GI warehouses to meet relevant cleaning procedures and food safety standards.
* Accuracy and timeliness of record keeping and documentation requirements, e.g. Cleaning schedule.
* Safe operation of machinery including, but not limited to, sweepers, floor scrubbers and forklifts.
* Empty bins in the warehouse and general site.
* Ad hoc spill response.
Shifts
This is a Day Shift position within our new Distribution Centre in Berkeley Vale. It is a 7‐month Fixed Term role at 38 hours per week.
Day Shift:
* Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am – 2:15 pm
* Friday: 6:00 am – 11:00 am
The Person
* Must have a forklift license.
* Preference is experience with a floor sweeper/scrubber.
* Will display initiative and have a strong work ethic.
* Can work both autonomously and as a team.
* Can think critically and problem solve.
