Remuneration: Starting from $84,618 plus 12% super, pro-rata for part-timers.
Location: Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (Ravenhall)
Role Type: Part-Time, Permanent (0.5 FTE - 2.5 days / 19 hours per week)

About the Role: Join us as a Teacher – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, where your creativity and empathy can help transform lives.
In this highly rewarding role, you will work with women in a correctional environment, delivering engaging art programs that foster self‐expression, confidence, and personal growth. Working in small, supportive groups, you will design and deliver learning programs tailored to diverse needs and backgrounds.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and delivering cultural art programs
* Supporting and mentoring learners in small group settings
* Contributing to student assessment and engagement
* Assisting with student recruitment, enrolment, and support
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
We are excited about you because you have:
* A background in Fine Arts, visual arts, or as a practising/exhibiting artist (desirable)
* Experience working with culturally diverse or sensitive cohorts (highly regarded)
* A flexible, adaptable, and non‐judgemental approach
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with learners
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) OR enrolment/commitment to complete within required timeframe
* Relevant vocational qualifications aligned to the teaching area
