As a Principal Structural Engineer based in Newcastle, you will lead multidisciplinary projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive local market growth.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
* Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality and industry regulations.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams, architects and clients to develop innovative and cost‐effective solutions.
* Drive local team culture of creativity and innovation, supporting the development of team members.
* Oversee structural engineering projects across Industrial, Energy and Water markets.
Qualifications
* Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
* Significant demonstrated experience in heavy industrial, water or energy structures.
* Experience on brownfield industrial projects and/or structural asset‐management roles.
* Highly organised with outstanding technical and communication skills.
* Proven ability to lead as a Principal, mentor others and drive successful project outcomes.
* Commitment to continuous learning, professional development and career progression.
