Care Companion (Personal Carer) – Sunrise Beach
Location: Sunrise Beach, Aged Care Facility. Remuneration: $36.32 per hour plus superannuation and additional benefits including salary packaging, penalties & allowances, and employee discounts.
About the Role
As a Care Companion you will provide person‐centred care to residents following the Household Model of Care. You will support independence and enhance residents' quality of life through daily living assistance and participation in social and recreational activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with daily living tasks such as showering, personal hygiene, and meal support
* Provide general mobility and laundry support
* Deliver care in line with individualized Care Plans
* Support residents in community‐based recreational and social activities
* Advocate for residents' choices, foster skill development, and encourage engagement
Qualifications and Experience
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification
* Proficiency with technology including smartphones, tablets, and laptops
* Ability to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policy, or willingness to obtain them
* Experience or willingness to undertake NDIS workers screening
