We operate across a range of industries, including agribusiness, real estate development, hospitality and infrastructure and possess extensive expertise in carbon farming, viticulture, horticulture, broadacre cropping, dairy processing and commodities export.
Due to recent growth, we are now looking for a financial analyst to join our tight knit West Perth Team in a newly created role. Reporting to the Manager – Corporate Finance & Investments this position will work closely with senior decision-makers supporting M&A and corporate finance transactions – contributing to financial modelling, business case preparation and investor materials – in addition to internal operations analysis and reviews.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed forecast financial modelling for internal business units and acquisition opportunities
* Assist with business case preparation, commercial reviews and risk analysis
* Prepare pitch decks, analysis and presentations for senior management, board and investors
* Contribute to preparation of budgeting and forecasting for operational and strategic planning
* Provide internal financial analysis and commercial insights across multiple business units
* Source, maintain and analyse market data across a suite of agricultural markets
* Support transaction processes and participate in completed transactions and investment projects
* Manage due diligence data and related documentation
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience in corporate finance or finance analyst role
* Post‐graduate Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA, CPA or CFA qualified (or working towards)
* Strong financial modelling and Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
* Ability to work with urgency and maintain quality across multiple workstreams
* Highly analytical, detail‐focused and commercially minded
* Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Agribusiness exposure preferred but not essential
* Must be Perth based with full Australian working rights
