About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our client's collaborative Allied Health team, working across both clinic and community settings (Launceston or Hobart).
You will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders, while also advocating for participants' communication needs. The position includes involvement in assistive technology and seating/postural support, working closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored solutions for clients of all ages.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assessing, diagnosing, and providing intervention for communication and swallowing difficulties.
* Developing and implementing mealtime management and communication support plans.
* Working collaboratively with participants, families, and caregivers to achieve meaningful outcomes.
* Providing input into seating, postural support, and assistive technology solutions.
* Delivering services statewide, including via telehealth where appropriate.

Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology .
* Membership (or eligibility for membership) with Speech Pathology Australia.
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Speech Pathology (not suitable for new graduates at this time).
* Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel intrastate as required.
* Current (or ability to obtain): National Police Check (within 3 months) and Working with Vulnerable People Card / NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Knowledge of NDIS and participant/family-centred practices is desirable.
