Placed.au is looking for a full‐time Logistics & Service Coordinator for our client in Melbourne Airport, Victoria. This role is responsible for coordinating shipping, logistics, inventory, and service activities across retail and warehouse operations, supporting the distribution and sale of electronic products.
Job Description
* Coordinate shipping, logistics and inventory activities across retail and warehouse operations.
* Monitor stock movement, inventory levels and product distribution processes.
* Support customer service and after‐sales service coordination activities.
* Liaise with suppliers, freight providers and internal departments regarding operational matters.
* Maintain inventory records, operational documentation and service reports.
* Assist with product handling, setup and technical service coordination.
* Support workflow planning and daily operational procedures within the business.
* Assist management with service delivery, stock control and operational efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications / Attributes
* Must hold a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Supply Chain Management, or a relevant Bachelor degree, or at least five (5) years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
* Must possess at least one (1) year of relevant work experience as a Logistics & Service Coordinator or in a similar logistics, operations, or supply chain coordination role.
* Experience coordinating shipping, freight, and inventory management activities across retail or warehouse environments.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
* High attention to detail in documentation, record keeping, and reporting.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and support management with operational efficiency initiatives.
Salary
$70,000 – $85,000 per annum excluding superannuation.
