Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator role is a pivotal position within our organization, where you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the logistical processes to ensure smooth operations. This involves maintaining effective processes, efficiently managing load processing, producing workload for the day, allocating team members to work roles each day, addressing team members at morning toolbox talks, operating technology and machinery in a safe and efficient manner, taking care of health and safety, being a mentor and leading by example.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Forklift License: A current forklift license is essential for this role, ensuring that you can operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
* Microsoft Suite Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is necessary for data analysis, documentation, and communication.
* SAP Knowledge: Some knowledge of SAP software is required, enabling you to manage inventory, track shipments, and optimize logistics processes.
* Communication Skills: Clear, concise communication skills are vital for effective teamwork, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
* Numerical Skills: Numerical skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, are crucial for managing data, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries.
* Physical Capability: The ability to physically handle manual tasks is necessary, as this role requires standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout the shift.
