Allied Health Assistant – Community Services
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to assist EGHS Allied Health Professionals in a range of settings including community health, acute, aged care, outreach and consumer homes.
East Grampians Health Service aims to meet the needs of the community by offering a vast array of services based at the community health centre in Ararat. We also offer outreach services to Willaura, Lake Bolac and Elmhurst. Our services include dental, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, podiatry, speech pathology, dietetics, diabetes education and social work. These services support other clinical areas including our acute and residential aged care patients. Our community health centre also hosts speciality clinics such as consulting suites for our visiting surgeons and maternal child and health.

About The Role
The successful applicant would be working under the supervision and delegation of Allied Health Professionals/Nurses/Medical Officers and supporting the delivery of high-quality consumer care.
About You
* Certificate III or IV Allied Health Assistant qualification or an applicant with an interest in this area of work and with an intention to complete a formal qualification.
* Experience working in a community setting as an AHA working with a variety of Allied Health Professionals.
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
