Employment Type: Temporary opportunity for 12 months
Location: 4PSQ, McKell Gosford – Hybrid opportunity. In‐office requirement 2‐3 days a week as a minimum, which could be subject to change based on applicable DCS workplace policies.
What you will do
* Lead and manage ICT project resourcing, internal and external vendors and project staff to deliver all key project milestones and outcomes.
* Manage and coordinate aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, delivery, reporting, and closure.
* Engage with stakeholders to understand evolving business and technical requirements and follow internal governance requirements.
* Continually monitor and evaluate the aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management.
* Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project priorities.
About you
* Proven knowledge and experience in NSW Government procurement frameworks, documentation, and processes.
* Experience managing the end‐to‐end ICT project lifecycle, from planning through to delivery and closure, in a complex and multi‐stakeholder environment.
* Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely within a team environment and leverage the expertise of ICT divisions.
* A minimum of five years' experience delivering ICT projects (infrastructure experience preferred).
* A proactive and continuous learning mindset, with a willingness to contribute, share knowledge and support team capability uplift.
* A solid understanding of the Project Manager role and the practical application of project management methodologies to deliver outcomes aligned to business objectives.
