An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist seeking to step into a leadership role with genuine long-term career prospects. Based across two community pharmacies in the welcoming regional towns of Hopetoun and Ravensthorpe on Western Australia's beautiful South Coast, this position offers an outstanding lifestyle surrounded by pristine beaches, national parks, and outdoor recreation, all within a two-hour drive of Esperance. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of two established community pharmacies while working towards a future partnership arrangement.
Job Specification
As Pharmacist Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of both pharmacies while maintaining a strong focus on patient care and community engagement. Working as the sole pharmacist, you will confidently manage dispensary operations, mentor support staff, and contribute to business growth and performance.
Key responsibilities include
* Dispensing and clinical checking of prescriptions
* Providing professional services including MedsChecks and vaccinations
* Medication management and patient counselling
* Building strong customer relationships within the local community
* Supporting business development and operational improvements
* Supervising a small, experienced support team
Skills Required
* Current general registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA
* 3 years minimum community pharmacy experience in Australia
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Confidence working as a sole pharmacist
* Accreditation in vaccination services essential.
* Excellent communication and patient care skills
Salary & Benefits
* From $60 per hour AUD, negotiable based on experience
