Seeking a part time receptionist to join our Patient Administration team. You will provide a wide range of services at our main information desk on Sundays 0830 - 1700, Mondays and Tuesdays 1100 - 1930.
What You'll Be Doing
The Main Information Desk Receptionist will deliver efficient and friendly information services to patients, families, general public and staff. Responsibilities include assisting wards with remote relief cover in patient management updates, admissions, transfers, and discharges; collaborating with the Patient Management Administration team for data reconciliation; using system-based applications such as PayWay Virtual Terminal to collect and manage customer payments; and distributing meal tickets for overseas patients and families.

Key Qualifications and Skills
6. High standard of verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Customer service skills with a desire to provide high standard service and assist others.
8. Strong organisational skills.
9. Ability to work as part of a team.
10. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites and Patient Management system.
11. Ability to work flexible hours to meet the operational demands of the Hospital.
Legal and Safety Requirements
Permanent NSW Health roles require Australian citizenship or permanent residency. Temporary visa holders may be considered if no suitable Australian citizen or permanent resident is identified.
NSW Health vaccination and screening requirements must be met prior to commencement.
This position requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the Office of the Children's Guardian.
Where required, overseas qualifications must be formally assessed by the Department of Education or relevant authority for recognition in Australia.
