You will complete a Certificate III Scaffolding qualification over 24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and our host employer, KJ Industrial Scaffolding. KJ Industrial Scaffolding were a finalist for Large Employer of the Year in the 2025 NSW Training Awards
Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:
* Plan, build and erect scaffold and working platforms on various construction, commercial, industrial & mining sites
* Check and maintain scaffolding equipment and inspect scaffold structures for safety
* Picking, carrying and packing scaffolding components
* Assist in general maintenance duties that are within the limits of the skills, competence and ability of a trainee.
Please note – these positions are due to commence in January 2026

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:
* Commitment to both on and off the job training.
* Good attention to detail and time management
* Ability to work at heights
* Physically fit and able to withstand the physical demands of the job
Mandatory Requirements
* White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
* Working with Children's Check and Police check (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
* Willingness to undergo pre-employment Audiometry, Drug and Alcohol screening, Functional capacity assessment and Hepatitis A & B immunisation
