Avive is growing, and we're looking for experienced mental health nurses to grow with us.
Avive Health is growing – and we're looking for allied health professionals who want to grow with us. As a clinician-led, trauma-informed private mental health provider, Avive was designed differently from day one: purpose-built environments, advanced technology that supports meaningful care, and a culture grounded in respect, collaboration and genuine compassion.
Our Mornington Peninsula hospital is now firmly established and rapidly expanding. With new psychiatrists joining our team, new programs launching, and strong community demand for evidence-based mental health and dual-diagnosis care, we're welcoming skilled allied health professionals to support our next phase of growth.
Whether you're an experienced clinician or looking to deepen your expertise in inpatient mental health, we'd love to hear from you.
Why join Avive?
* Supportive, multidisciplinary culture with genuinely present clinical leadership
* Purpose-built therapeutic environments designed to promote healing and safety
* Innovative, tech-enabled systems – less admin, more time for meaningful clinical work
* Structured orientation and ongoing professional development
* Opportunities to grow into program facilitation, senior therapy, education or leadership roles
* A values-led mental health organisation where your expertise truly shapes the patient journey
About the role
We're seeking credentialled and registered allied health professionals to join our expanding inpatient and day program teams. You'll work closely with psychiatrists, nursing staff and fellow clinicians in an environment where collaboration is the norm – and where your role is central to the therapeutic experience.
Your work will include:
* Group program facilitation across evidence-based mental health, trauma, addictions and wellbeing streams
* Clinical assessment, formulation and treatment planning
* Interdisciplinary case discussions to support integrated, person-centred care
* Contribution to program development and quality improvement as we expand our service offerings
Who we're looking for
* Registered and/or credentialled allied health clinicians (e.g., psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, counsellors or related disciplines)
* Experience in mental health, trauma, addictions, dual diagnosis or group facilitation
* Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to trauma-informed, evidence-based, person-centred practice
* Current professional registration and required insurances
* National police check (or willingness to obtain)
