Service Technician - Diesel (Kalgoorlie)
The Service Technician will be responsible for performing both scheduled and emergency service work, including the disassembly, overhaul, repair, testing, and inspection of a variety of Xylem systems and products.
Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on Xylem equipment at customer sites and in the workshop.
* Install, test, and maintain pumps and systems to meet operational standards before dispatch.
* Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, offering expert advice and service feedback.
* Disassemble, clean, assess, and rebuild systems to restore full functionality.
* MR and forklift license (highly desirable).
* Prepare and maintain accurate service reports and documentation in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience
* Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic
* Prior Experience working in a Workshop environment.
* Good attention to detail, excellent problem solving and time management.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers.
