Senior Advisor - Reportable Conduct
We are working with a large education organisation that oversees hundreds of schools across Melbourne to appoint a Senior Advisor - Reportable Conduct to its Child Safety and Risk team.
About the Role
This specialist role is focused on ensuring schools meet their obligations under the Victorian Reportable Conduct Scheme and the Child Safe Standards.
You will manage reportable conduct matters from intake through to close, providing expert advice and oversight of investigations while ensuring that all matters are dealt with fairly, consistently, and in line with legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating and managing reportable conduct cases from beginning to end
Providing transparent and practical advice to school Principals and leadership teams on compliance obligations
Preparing and reviewing high-quality reports and documentation for regulators, senior leaders, and external agencies
Liaising with investigators and external stakeholders to ensure due process
Contributing to continuous improvement in safeguarding practices across the school system
About You
Knowledge of child safety legislation, compliance frameworks, or regulatory schemes would be advantageous but not essential
Demonstrated experience in case management and investigations
Exceptional report writing and analytical skills
Ability to build robust, skilled relationships with senior stakeholders, particularly school Principals
Resilient, professional, and able to manage sensitive matters with discretion
Employment Details
Base pay range: A$120,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr
