Job Title: Senior Technical Officer for Clinical Skills and Simulation
Flinders Rural Health SA is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Technical Officer for Clinical Skills and Simulation. This position plays a vital part in supporting the South Australia Rural Medical Program by managing simulation and clinical skills teaching environments.
About the Role
This position involves coordinating the setup, dismantling, and maintenance of clinical skills and simulation sessions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing equipment, consumables, and teaching resources to ensure smooth operations.
They will provide technical support and training to staff and students on the safe use of equipment. Additionally, they will drive innovation by sourcing and implementing new technologies to meet teaching fidelity requirements.
Key Requirements
* A relevant diploma qualification and experience, or an equivalent mix of education and training
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously
* Hands-on experience with technical equipment, including assembly, testing, and repairs
* Well-developed communication skills and proficiency in IT systems and applications
