We are seeking talented and enthusiastic professionals looking to complete their speciality training working in a senior role, while supporting Registrars and Resident Medical Officers. This position will be best suited to a level 5 or 6 trainee.
This accredited senior registrar position will offer excellent experience in tertiary level antenatal and intrapartum care including ultrasound and labour ward management. The training in general gynaecology unit will allow the successful applicant to consolidate their surgical skills including laparoscopic surgery, prior to entering specialist practice.
This is an exceptional and unique opportunity that will enable the successful applicant to gain all the skills they will require to enter specialist practice on completion of this appointment.
Salary
$138,978 - $194,675 per annum (Salary range is in accordance with the Medical Practitioners Agreement 2025).

Duties
* The Registrar is responsible for the day-to-day management of private & public inpatients/outpatients and provides afterhours emergency cover at the hospital as required.

* Successful completion of RANZCOG examination
Essential Requirements
* General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).
