Job Opportunity
We're seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Spare Parts Advisor to join our team.
This role involves providing technical assistance and ensuring timely and accurate parts supply to workshop personnel, performing stock control, stocktakes, and inventory allocation, ordering parts, liaising with suppliers, and negotiating pricing. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide excellent internal and external customer service, answer phones, respond to enquiries, and support parts interpretation.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support and expertise to colleagues and customers
* Manage inventory levels, perform stocktakes, and allocate resources effectively
* Source and procure high-quality parts from suppliers
* Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Collaborate with the Procurement Manager on parts planning and prioritization
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a dealership or mechanical environment
* Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and support
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Competency using computer systems and applications
* Initiative and a solution-focused approach
